2019 Pamplin Leadership Development Conference
The 20th Annual Pamplin Leadership Development Conference took place on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in German Club Manor. Conference highlights included a phenomenal speech from keynote speaker, Lorenzo Amani, presentations from company sponsors, Grant Thronton, EY, Paycom, and Hilton, and breakout sessions from Target, KPMG, ETS Recruit, and CBIZ. Conference attendees also enjoyed networking time with company representatives and delicious food from Panera Bread and Personal Touch Catering!

Keynote Speaker
Lorenzo Amani has two Bachelor’s of Science degrees, in Apparel Housing and Resource Management and Sociology from Virginia Tech. He completed a Master’s of Education in Higher and Post-Secondary Education from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration and Public Affairs at Virginia Tech. His research and professional practice areas are in public workforce planning and development, and the intricate nexus of finance, law, and labor
