Why Attend the Conference?

What does it really mean to be a leader? Each person has their own story and I encourage you all to foster that story to develop and learn.

Join Pamplin Leadership Development team members, company sponsors, faculty, and a select group of your most motivated and passionate peers for the 2020 21st annual Pamplin Leadership Development Conference on January 26th in German Club Manor! The day will consist of presentations from keynote speakers, faculty, and PLDT members, interactive workshops led by company sponsors and opportunities to network with company representatives and peers throughout the day! Last year’s conference included workshops from corporate sponsors including Grant Thornton, DHG, EY, Target, KPMG, Capital One, Deloitte, Kohl’s, PwC, Partners in Financial Planning, and Cherry Bekaert. The workshops focused on building personal brands, mastering case study interviews, and showing professionalism. The conference is a great opportunity to learn about leadership and develop your skills and brand as a leader!

PLDT is a great place to make meaningful connections with employers while building strong relationships with your colleagues. I highly reccomend that students take part in this one-of-a-kind experience.
— Matthew Dasher, Junior BIT major and 2019 conference attendee
